A Healthy Exercise in a Gorgeous Natural Setting.
The Holiday Region Kitzbuheler Alpen with its four towns of St. Johann in Tirol, Oberndorf, Kirchdorf and Erpfendorf offers a network of 275 kilometers of superbly groomed trails for classic and skate skiing, novices and experts.
The Holiday Region’s cross-country skiing trails were awarded the Tirolean Seal of Quality for their excellence.

Int. Koasalauf

Austria’s largest and most traditional amateur cross-country ski race , the Koasalauf, attracts some 2000 participants from 16 nations, and is held every year in February. The “KOASA”, as it is known among locals, forms part of the Tirol Trophy series (www.tiroltrophy.com) and the Euroloppet series (www.euroloppet.com), a group of Europe’s top 14 cross-country ski races (as at 2006) held in 14 countries.
The “Koasalauf” has its name from the majestic WILDER KAISER massif. Standing sentinel over the entrance to the Tirolean Inntal valley, the rugged KOASA, as it is called in local dialect, belongs to some of Tirol’s most stunning and scenically dramatic mountain landscapes.
Biathlon for everybody
In Winter every Tuesday the "Biathlon for everyone" takes place in Erpfendorf. Discover how difficult the combination between crosscountry skiing and shooting is!
